Light weight, comfort, and strength: the new SL-70 Ergo is the ultimate handlebar for long days in the saddle. The SL-70 Ergo combines the flat bar top shape of the beloved Contour SL bar with numerous modern features sought after by riders and pro bike fitters. The SL-70 Ergo sports a 70mm reach and 128mm drop. The short 70mm reach has been a popular choice in recent years, as it allows bike fitters flexibility in achieving a comfortable position without sacrificing steering control. The drop utilizes a variable radius, allowing for multiple hand positions and deeper movement into the drop. As a result, reach to the brake lever is shorter. A 3° backsweep on the flat tops keeps the wrist in a comfortable position, essential for long days on pavement or gravel, while the 10° ramp angle provides a smooth transition to modern shifter hoods. Brake and shifter housing is elegantly hidden along the underside of the bar.
- Updated distinctive Zipp cosmetics
- Unidirectional carbon built for stiffness, comfort, and light weight
- Flattened top shape with 3° backsweep for comfort
- Variable radius drop for multiple hand positions and deeper movement into the drop.
- Lifetime warranty

On today's road bikes, silver stands out amid the sea of stealthy black color schemes. This time-honored handlebar color is available on the Zipp Service Course 70 XPLR, our newest drop-bar offering. The bar's moniker, XPLR, exemplifies the desire to explore the world with an expanded definition of cycling on a drop bar bicycle — from paved roads to gravel, mud, dirt, and even singletrack. The Service Course 70 XPLR helps you go faster by placing your body, starting with your hands, in an optimal "comfort zone" position for hours of rough riding over mixed terrain. Whether on a two-hour training ride from home or a 200-mile gravel adventure, today's riders demand more of their cockpit: comfort, control, and the ability to carry what they need. We met these needs by creating a bar with shallow and wide drops while focusing on two crucial metrics — outsweep and flare.
- Bar drops provide a wider, balanced, and secure position with drops that are about 6cm wider than the hoods position for technical or intense riding.
- The 70 XPLR features an ergonomic top with an extended 100mm clamping area for computer mounts, aero-extensions, bags, and whatever else you may need for the long haul.
- Reach: 70mm
- Drop: 115mm

Lightweight, stiffness, and comfort: the Zipp Service Course line provides the right fit for all rider types.
- New flattened bar top and 3° backsweep for a neutral wrist position on the tops
- 7° ramp angle for a flat transition to the hoods and 4° outsweep at the drops
- 80mm reach and 125mm drop for a medium-high position
- 6061 aluminum for low weight and durability
- Di2 RS910 junction compatible
- Compatible with clip-on extensions (sold separately)

The bar's 128mm drop help puts the rider low and in control without compromising comfort. Whether it's a rider with smaller hands or a bigger rider getting aero by pairing this bar with a long stem, this bar helps put just about any cyclists into their optimal position.

This is Zipp's innovative all-road handlebar, the Service Course SL 70 XPLR. The bar's moniker, XPLR, exemplifies the desire to explore the world with an expanded definition of cycling on a drop bar bicycle—from paved roads onto gravel, mud, dirt, and even single track. The Service Course SL 70 XPLR helps you go faster by placing your body, starting with your hands, in an optimal "comfort zone" position for hours of rough riding over mixed terrain. Today's riders demand a few things out of their cockpit, whether they are doing a two hour training ride from home or a 200 mile gravel adventure: comfort, control, and the ability to carry what they need. Tom Ritchey has been riding off-road and riding far—and designing products for such adventures—decades before anyone thought to call it "gravel riding" or "bikepacking." His real-life experiences directly inform every product made by Ritchey—such as the beloved VentureMax handlebar. Like the original, the Classic VentureMax is influenced by those life experiences, with some added new features—continuing to inspire riders to chase gravel and other mixed-surface adventures. Adding a touch of stylish sophistication with its high-polish silver finish, the Classic VentureMax features aero-shaped 38x22.5mm ergonomic tops for a more comfortable hand position, while drilling for a Shimano EW-RS910 junction box expands the adaptability of the WCS VentureMax.
Multiple hand positions are key for comfort and confidence on any ride, and the Classic VentureMax offers plenty of options there—especially with its wide 24-degree flare at the drops. But it's the return of the Bio-bend in the drop that adds yet another design element that is practical and comfortable for whatever surface you choose to ride upon and for however long your adventure endures.

The ergonomic evolution of Ritchey handlebars continues with the ground-breaking Comp Beacon. The most notable feature is its super-wide 36° drop flare. Aside from the unmatched ergonomic comfort and stability afforded by this wide flare, it also allows for plenty of space for handlebar packs.
When riding in the drops, the Beacon doubles down on comfort with a very shallow 80mm drop and a shorter than usual reach. The Evo-style top section offers broad support for your hands, and it has a gentle backward sweep for a more natural hand position when riding the tops.
The unconventional aesthetic of the Comp Beacon belies its comfort and practicality. Taking inspiration from the randonneur world, the Beacon allows an easy transition of the hands around the bar without upsetting bike handling when loaded with gear. The gentle change of hand position allows the body to stretch and move while keeping the bike stable.
Ideal for adventure touring and bikepacking, on asphalt or gravel trails—or even for urban riding—the unique Comp Beacon brings a whole new level of comfort and control.

Nearly fifty years ago, Tom Ritchey, his mentor Jobst Brandt and a group of like-minded friends would spend countless adventurous hours riding the remote trails, broken tarmac and rough gravel roads that twist through the mountains in and around the Butano State Park in northern California. Tom still rides these trails and roads today, and this topography and the pioneering rides that took place there are the inspiration for the Butano handlebar.
This unique bar has proven highly sought after by legions of gravel lovers and road riders since it was introduced a few years ago. It's wide drop flare offers adventurous riders an increased level of control and confidence compared to more traditional drop bars, while its shallow drop and short reach offer a welcome amount of comfort for endless days in the rough stuff.
Updated for 2021, the new Butano capitalizes on its original comfort by adding new features such as the ability for internal cable routing and a welcoming ergo-aero top section for increased hand support. The drop flare on the new Butano has also gone wider, measuring a liberal 18° for additional comfort and control.
The new Butano handlebar was born from Tom's legendary riding adventures in those remote California mountains, and delivers the features you need for your own unending exploration and ceaseless journeys.

Continuing Ritchey’s heritage of designing innovative handlebars that meet the unique demands of discerning riders everywhere, we present the new Comp Corralitos. Named after Corralitos Road, a stunning stretch of one of Tom’s favorite all-day rides, this super-compact drop bar is designed for any sort of riding from off-road explorations where comfort is a priority to urban commuting where practicality wins the day.
The Comp Corralitos features a 15mm rise, a round top shape, and a wide 24° drop flare. And its drops measure a lengthy 180mm - great for comfort and leverage in any situation. This innovative bar also presents an anatomical bend shape, which creates two angles that provide riders two optimized and more stable hand positions on the bar. The Corralitos also offers the shortest reach and smallest drop possible for an alloy bar. In fact, this bar is a fantastic bar option for bikes that don’t traditionally feature drop bars.
From adventurous gravel escapes to more explorative pursuits around town, and everywhere in-between, the Comp Corralitos promises better ride experiences with unmatched comfort, control, and practicality.

The evolution of Ritchey handlebars continues with the Comp ErgoMax. This new bar enjoys a rich history of handlebar design and development and combines it with the modern demands of discerning riders who enjoy riding varying surfaces.
Designed to enhance control and comfort when riding along loose surfaces, the ErgoMax is ideal for a gravel bike since it places the hands in a wider, more stable position while in the drops. The ErgoMax is just as perfectly situated on road bikes that are built for endurance, its ergonomics delivering unparalleled comfort.
The bar tops employ a 10mm rise at the clamping area, which offers a slightly more upright riding position. They are then ovalized and have a slight 4-degree rearward sweep to more evenly distribute the weight of the rider's hands and wrists, also putting them in a more natural position.
Continuing with an eye towards ergonomics, the ErgoMax also features drops with a nice 12-degree flare to keep the rider's hands in a comfortable and confident position, while also adding a bit more unobstructed stability when turning or sprinting.
The new Ritchey ErgoMax bar delivers more control, welcome comfort, and increased confidence when riding gravel, setting out on multi-day adventures, or rolling along those long miles of tarmac.

Having banked several decades of riding at least 10,000 miles per year, and still doing so, Tom has logged lots of hands-on (excuse the pun) time pondering handlebar design. And the new WCS Skyline bar is the latest result of his never-ending quest to bring the best product designs to demanding riders everywhere so that they may enjoy every pedal stroke as much as he does.
Made from double-butted 6061 alloy and featuring ergonomic tops and an anatomical bend shape, the new Comp Skyline is designed for amazing road riding experiences but also shines along cyclocross courses and anywhere else you would want a comfortable and confident drop bar.
Bolstering the multiple hand positions offered by the tops and anatomical bend is the shorter reach and more shallow drop of the Skyline. But the key to the sublime ergonomics of the Skyline is its progressive reach and drop depending on the width of the bar - offering true ergonomic consistency across all sizes. This combination makes the WCS Skyline the most ergonomic Ritchey road bar on offer.
